Leicester City announces the three-year signing of Jamaican international winger Bobby De Cordova-Reid.

De Cordova-Reid, 31, joins Leicester City from Fulham, where he made over 200 appearances. Speaking to LCFC.com, he expressed his excitement about the move.

“Arriving here was a special moment. Seeing the infrastructure, it’s got that wow factor. I’m delighted to be here and can’t wait to get started,” he said.

De Cordova-Reid also shared insights from his discussions with the manager.

“I had a good chat with the manager. He told me the vision of the club. We spoke a few times, and he was very clear about what he wanted and what he saw in me. He believes in me, and it’s a perfect fit.”

Born in Bristol, De Cordova-Reid began his career with Bristol City, making his senior debut for the Robins in the 2010/11 season. After loan spells at Cheltenham Town, Oldham Athletic, and Plymouth Argyle, he established himself at Ashton Gate. He was named in the PFA Championship Team of the Year in 2017/18 after scoring 19 league goals.

In June 2018, he signed for Premier League side Cardiff City, scoring five times in 15 starts. A loan switch to Fulham followed in August 2019, with the move made permanent in January 2020. During his time at Craven Cottage, De Cordova-Reid represented the club 209 times.

Internationally, De Cordova-Reid has earned 33 caps for Jamaica. He has featured for his country in the 2021 and 2023 CONCACAF Gold Cup tournaments, as well as this summer’s Copa América.
