Leicester City Loan Deal Proposal: ‘Negotiations Ongoing,’ Potential Benefits for Foxes
Wilfried Zaha won many hearts during his time in the Premier League with Crystal Palace.
Now playing for Galatasaray in Turkey, he might be set for a return to England after just a season away.
Turkish journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu has reported on the potential transfer of the ex-Palace winger to Leicester City.
He elaborated on David Ornstein’s claim that Zaha is interested in joining Leicester, providing additional details.
Sabuncuoğlu stated that Galatasaray has informed Leicester that they would need to pay a loan fee for Zaha. However, the Turkish club is willing to cover the 31-year-old’s entire salary.
This arrangement would allow Galatasaray to free up finances during the ongoing transfer window, while Leicester could benefit from having a player without paying his wages.
According to the Turkish journalist, “negotiations are ongoing.”
Interestingly, on Friday evening, Sabuncuoğlu reported that Zaha had agreed to personal terms with Crystal Palace and that the Eagles were close to reaching a deal with Galatasaray.
This adds another layer of complexity to Zaha’s potential move, suggesting multiple clubs are vying for his signature.
