Leicester City’s attention has now shifted toward planning for the 2025-26 Championship season, with an emphasis on “shaping their future.”

The club is preparing its squad for the challenges ahead, and the final six matches of this current campaign will offer some insight into how that team may come together.

However, supporters will already have their own ideas of what a successful squad might look like.

Here’s a projection of a dream squad for Leicester heading into next season.

To keep things realistic, the number of new additions is capped at nine, matching the number of signings made the last time the club was relegated.

Goalkeepers

In an ideal scenario, Mads Hermansen would remain with the team. But with financial pressure from reduced television and sponsorship income, along with the need to comply with Profit and Sustainability Rules, it’s likely Hermansen will be sold.

As a valuable asset, his departure would help balance the books.

That wouldn’t necessarily be bad news, as Jakub Stolarczyk seems ready to take over as the club’s number one.

With Danny Ward and Daniel Iversen out of contract, the goalkeeping unit needs an overhaul.

Stolarczyk, who made a big leap from League Two to Championship back-up, could use a young understudy.

That setup may allow Victor Kristiansen to move on, as he did during Leicester’s previous stint in the Championship.

Additionally, keeping 18-year-old Bade Aluko—currently on the bench for Brighton—in the senior squad could prove beneficial.
