“Leicester City’s Star Midfielder Up for Grabs in SHOCKING Relegation Fire Sale – Grab This Transfer STEAL Before It’s Too Late!”

Boubakary Soumare Emerges as Likely Summer Exit Despite Regular Role Under Ruud van Nistelrooy

Leicester City midfielder Boubakary Soumare is set to be a “real market opportunity” in the upcoming summer transfer window, with his representatives actively monitoring potential moves.

Following the club’s relegation, a wave of exits is expected.

When Leicester dropped to the Championship two years ago, 13 senior players departed either permanently or on loan, and a similar number could leave this time.

Soumare, who has just one year left on his contract at the King Power Stadium, is among the top candidates to move on.

Reports from France, including RMC Sport, suggest Ligue 1 clubs may seize the chance to sign the 26-year-old at a cut price.

Monaco and Lyon are again linked with interest, having previously considered him last summer.

Soumare initially left Leicester after relegation in 2023, joining Sevilla on loan, where he became a regular in their lineup.

This time, however, a permanent transfer appears more likely due to the short time left on his current deal.

His agents are said to be actively exploring options for a summer move.

After starting the season on the fringes of the Leicester squad, Soumare gained more prominence late in Steve Cooper’s tenure and has since established himself under Ruud van Nistelrooy.

With 22 Premier League starts this season—the highest he’s managed in a single campaign at Leicester—Soumare has shown signs of growth and consistency.

His ability to drive forward with the ball and link play in attacking phases has been more evident, making him a valuable asset.

Given his improved performances and contract situation, Soumare appears likely to be on the move, and a return to Ligue 1 could be on the cards.
