“Leicester City’s WILD Transfer Deadline Day SHOCKER: Attacking Midfield SUPERSTAR Snagged in Jaw-Dropping Last-Second Loan Deal!”

Leicester secure Aaron Ramsey on season-long loan as midfielder looks to revive career after lengthy injury layoff

Leicester City concluded a frantic deadline day by securing the loan signing of Aaron Ramsey from Burnley.

The 22-year-old attacking midfielder will spend the season at the King Power Stadium, stepping in to fill the void left by Bilal El Khannouss, who sealed a late move to Stuttgart on the final day of the window.

Ramsey joins after enduring a difficult spell at Turf Moor. A serious knee injury sidelined him for most of Burnley’s promotion campaign, restricting him to just one brief outing in April—his first competitive action in 14 months.

This season, he has yet to feature in the Premier League, although he did manage to find the net in a Carabao Cup tie.

His most impressive run came during the 2022-23 Championship season, when he split loan spells between Norwich City and Middlesbrough while on Aston Villa’s books.

Across those stints, he notched eight goals and added four assists, establishing himself as a creative influence in midfield.

With El Khannouss’s exit looming throughout the window, 17-year-old academy graduate Louis Page had been filling the gap, but Ramsey is now expected to take charge of that role.

He could make his Leicester debut in two weeks against Oxford United, linking up with fellow recruits Jordan James and Julian Carranza.
