With Tottenham reportedly set to offer Rodrigo Bentancur a new deal worth £150,000-a-week, Bissouma’s future looks uncertain.

The Mali international’s contract expires at the end of next season, making a summer move likely.

However, it appears he could still remain in the Premier League.

Bissouma to Crystal Palace for £15m?

According to GiveMeSport (2 March), Tottenham are prepared to let Bissouma leave, with Marseille, Nice, and Crystal Palace showing interest.

Former Spurs scout Bryan King told Tottenham News that a £15m bid could be enough to secure his transfer.

John Wenham, owner of Lilywhite Rose, echoed this sentiment, stating that a £15m fee would be reasonable and that Bissouma would likely be open to joining Palace.

“I’m sure Bissouma would be interested in a move to Palace,” Wenham said.

“It would allow him to stay in London and continue playing in the Premier League.

If Adam Wharton moves on, Palace could see Bissouma as a viable replacement for around £15m.”

He further added, “A club like Palace would take a chance on him at that price.

He’s an experienced Premier League midfielder, having spent four years at Brighton before joining Tottenham.

However, he simply isn’t good enough to be part of Spurs’ long-term plans.”

Time for Tottenham to move on

Bissouma has struggled for game time in recent weeks, further signaling his impending departure. Meanwhile, Spurs appear well-stocked in midfield.

With young talents like Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall emerging, and Postecoglou still having Bentancur, Pape Matar Sarr, James Maddison, and Dejan Kulusevski at his disposal, Bissouma’s exit seems logical.

If Tottenham secure £15m for him, they are unlikely to have any major objections.
