Liverpool and Everton’s Rivals Expected to Sign Striker as Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur Pursue Deals

Recent Transfer News and Rumors Involving Liverpool, Everton, and Their Premier League Rivals

Liverpool are set to enter a new era under Arne Slot, who has been chosen as the successor to Jurgen Klopp.

Meanwhile, Everton is preparing for another season with Sean Dyche at the helm. Here’s a roundup of the latest transfer news and rumors from around the Premier League:

Manchester United are reportedly poised to meet Bologna’s valuation for striker Joshua Zirkzee, according to the Daily Mail. The Dutch international, currently participating in Euro 2024, has been identified as a prime target for the Red Devils this summer. The 23-year-old spent time at Bayern Munich from 2017 to 2022, with loan spells at Parma and Anderlecht to gain experience. Since joining Bologna, Zirkzee has scored 14 goals in 58 games. A move to Old Trafford seems imminent.

Arsenal are looking to finalize a deal for Bologna defender Riccardo Calafiori, as reported by The Guardian. The Gunners, who finished second in the Premier League last season, are aiming to strengthen their defense. Calafiori, aged 22, has previously played for Roma and FC Basel. If Arsenal can secure the deal, he could have a significant future at the Emirates Stadium.

According to Sky Sports, Tottenham Hotspur are exploring a move for Aston Villa’s Jacob Ramsey, potentially sending Giovani Lo Celso to Villa Park as part of the deal. Under Ange Postecoglou, who joined from Celtic a year ago, Spurs are seeking to bring in new talent. Ramsey, 23, has progressed through Villa’s academy and had a loan spell at Doncaster Rovers in 2020 before establishing himself in the first team. He has made 122 appearances and scored 13 goals. His brother, Aaron, plays for Burnley.

Stuttgart is planning a fresh bid for Brighton and Hove Albion striker Deniz Undav, according to German news outlet Bild. Undav spent last season on loan with Stuttgart, scoring 19 goals in all competitions, helping them achieve a surprising second-place finish behind Bayer Leverkusen. Brighton signed Undav in 2022 from Union Saint-Gilloise in Belgium, but he has struggled to make an impact at the AMEX Stadium and could depart permanently soon.
