Referee Tim Robinson rejected what seemed to be an obvious penalty when Conor Chaplin was pushed down by Abdul Fatawu.

Shortly after, he issued Kalvin Phillips a second yellow card for a challenge on Ricardo Pereira.

Ipswich’s situation deteriorated further when substitute Jordan Ayew combined with Jamie Vardy, slipping the ball under goalkeeper Arijanet Muric to equalize for Leicester.
