“Marti Cifuentes Drops BOMBSHELL Leicester City Transfer News: MEGA Signings Revealed Before Deadline Day SHOCKER!”
Leicester boss teases possible new signings with four days left in the transfer window and only one addition made

Leicester City boss Marti Cifuentes has hinted that the club’s quiet transfer window could soon burst into life, suggesting fans will see the results of behind-the-scenes work before deadline day.
With just four days remaining in the window, City have brought in only one new face so far—experienced goalkeeper Asmir Begovic.
Instead, the focus has been on outgoings, with five players departing and around £50m raised through sales. That financial boost has put the club in a stronger position to consider new recruits.
Cifuentes, however, stressed that his preference is always to look internally before dipping into the market. Speaking at his Thursday press conference, he explained:
“There is a possibility to go into the market, yes. The fans can be calm about it. Even with only a few days left, they will see the work being done behind the scenes before the window closes.
“We are in daily communication about what I think we need to reinforce. But if we can solve problems inside the club, that is always my first choice.
Against Preston, Silko Thomas came off the bench and impressed me.
I try to find solutions through our own players—whether that’s giving academy lads a chance or asking senior players to adapt to new positions.
“If that’s not enough, then of course we look outside. But whoever comes in must clearly make us stronger, otherwise it doesn’t make sense.”
While the influx of cash from sales has eased pressure under the EFL’s financial regulations, the club may still sanction further exits if suitable bids arrive.
That approach was evident this week when James Justin, who captained Leicester in their opening two Championship games, was sold to Leeds United for £10m.
The departures of Justin and Kasey McAteer underline City’s willingness to trade when valuations are met, though the funds generated also give Cifuentes flexibility to reshape his squad in the coming days.
With time running out, Leicester fans will be hoping the promised signings arrive swiftly to strengthen the team for the long campaign ahead.
