Everton are targeting a move for World Cup winner Nicolas Tagliafico on a free transfer, according to the Daily Mail.

Everton Interested in Tagliafico
Tagliafico, who lifted the World Cup with Argentina in 2022, is now a free agent following the expiration of his deal with Lyon.
The versatile left-back, capable of playing in both a back four and as a wing-back, has drawn interest from several clubs.
Everton are keen on securing the 31-year-old’s services as part of their rebuild, which is expected to include several player departures.
However, they face competition from West Ham United and La Liga side Sevilla, and may need to act quickly to complete the signing.
The Merseyside club recently secured a major boost by tying down star defender Jarrad Branthwaite to a new five-year contract, fending off outside interest.
Club captain Seamus Coleman has also signed a one-year extension.
Midfielder Idrissa Gueye is also expected to agree new terms soon. Meanwhile, Dominic Calvert-Lewin has departed at the end of his contract, while Jack Harrison, Armando Broja, and Jesper Lindstrom have all returned to their parent clubs following the end of their loan spells.
Moyes is also close to confirming the arrival of striker Thierno Barry from Villarreal. The club has reached an agreement in principle with the Spanish side after Barry agreed personal terms.
