“Moyes Left Speechless! Everton Star’s Jaw-Dropping Brilliance Sparks £15M Transfer Frenzy!”

With Premier League Safety Secured, Everton’s Remaining Games Offer a Stage for Players to Impress

Everton are heading into a pivotal summer, with significant changes expected across the squad.

A number of players are approaching the end of their contracts, while others are due to return to their parent clubs after loan spells. In addition, some squad members are likely to be sold to reshape the team.

The Friedkin Group, Everton’s new owners, have impressed with their measured and deliberate approach so far, but their biggest test lies ahead.

Supporters are hoping they’ll provide manager David Moyes with the tools to build a strong team for the 2025/26 campaign.

One major decision awaiting the club is the future of Carlos Alcaraz. The Argentine midfielder arrived on loan in January and has shown flashes of quality.

Moyes was particularly pleased with Alcaraz’s performance in Everton’s recent win over Fulham.

Alcaraz was Everton’s sole signing during the January transfer window.

Despite the club’s desire for reinforcements, financial limitations—especially those tied to Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR)—meant Moyes was cautious about spending.

Instead, they secured Alcaraz on loan from Flamengo, including a purchase option for the end of the season.

Although the original agreement also included an obligation to buy under certain conditions, Alcaraz hasn’t started enough matches to trigger that clause.

As a result, there’s been speculation that Everton may be trying to avoid activating the purchase option in order to negotiate a lower fee, reportedly £15 million (according to the Liverpool Echo).

However, Moyes’s recent comments suggest the manager sees real value in the player. Speaking after the Fulham game, he said: “I was impressed with Charly.

I thought he did a lot of good things. I wasn’t so sure for most of the first half, but he helped win the corner that led to our goal.

He also made the final pass for Beto’s third goal. Overall, it was a good display.”

Alcaraz was warmly applauded by fans when he was substituted late in the match, with many chanting his name—a clear sign of how quickly he’s endeared himself to supporters.

Given Moyes’s growing appreciation for the midfielder, the chances of a permanent deal appear promising.

Securing Alcaraz on a full-time basis should be a priority for Everton. While he hasn’t been a standout star, he has certainly made a solid impact.

With limited playing time, Alcaraz has still managed to contribute one goal and three assists in the Premier League.

He’s shown creativity, energy, and a willingness to work hard—qualities that make him worth the investment.

Reports indicate other clubs are showing interest in Alcaraz ahead of the summer. Everton would be wise not to miss this opportunity. Allowing him to slip away could prove a costly mistake.
