Neemias Queta’s Fate with the Celtics Revealed

Neemias Queta clarified that there have been no talks between him and the Celtics regarding the conversion of his two-way contract to a standard one. He mentioned that he’s focused on performing his duties and fulfilling expectations. Whether or not he receives a standard contract, he’s prepared to accept the outcome. Queta recently played for the Maine Celtics, contributing significantly to their victory with an impressive performance, showcasing his skills on both ends of the court.

Maine Celtics, aiming for a favorable playoff position, have upcoming games, including one against Boston’s opponent, College Park, on Thursday. Queta reflected on his eventful season, acknowledging the learning experience of being part of a top NBA team and practicing alongside elite players. Despite early health concerns, Queta has found his rhythm and feels positive as the season nears its end.

Having missed the initial games due to a foot injury, Queta’s journey with the Celtics began in November. His contributions increased during periods of player absences, proving his value to the team. While two-way contract limitations allowed him to participate in only 50 NBA games, Queta’s presence provided vital depth for the Celtics.

As the regular season winds down, the Celtics have the option to convert Queta’s contract before the playoff eligibility deadline. However, Queta remains focused on his current role with the Maine Celtics, expressing willingness to support their postseason ambitions. Looking ahead, Queta acknowledges the uncertainty of his future but remains open to possibilities, emphasizing the need to stay adaptable in professional basketball.
