Newcastle United suffered a major setback in the summer when star striker Alexander Isak chose to join Premier League champions Liverpool.

Nineteen-year-old Lewis Miley, handed a rare start against Everton, delivered a superb all-round performance.
He won all of his physical duels, provided a corner assist for Thiaw’s opener, and scored Newcastle’s second with his weaker foot.
Once described by BBC pundit Pat Nevin as “England’s next superstar,” Miley continues to justify that praise.
The academy graduate has already amassed 60 senior appearances and contributed four goals and six assists.
His next major challenge is securing a regular starting spot ahead of established midfielders Bruno Guimarães, Sandro Tonali, and Joelinton. While difficult, his maturity and quality suggest he is capable of rising to the task.
Because he is young, English, and local, Miley has the potential to become a fan favourite and a future superstar at St. James’ Park.
He is not yet at Isak’s level, but if he maintains consistency and continues influencing games, he could eventually become Newcastle’s next marquee figure.
