“Newcastle SHOCKED! £80M Star Set to FLEE in Jaw-Dropping Transfer BOMBSHELL!”

Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke revealed that sources have provided an update on Tino Livramento’s future, suggesting Manchester City are interested in bringing the 22-year-old to the Etihad to work under Pep Guardiola.

Newcastle United, however, have made their stance clear.

To deter potential suitors, the Magpies have slapped an £80million valuation on the right-back, insisting that it would take a truly “astronomical” fee for them to even consider selling him.

This aligns with previous comments made by former Manchester United chief scout Mick Brown, who described Newcastle’s demands as “crazy” in their efforts to keep hold of Livramento.

Livramento, who was a standout performer for England’s Under-21 side during their European Championship triumph, has reportedly climbed high on City’s shortlist as they search for a long-term replacement for veteran right-back Kyle Walker.

As Football Insider previously reported back in February, City are expected to prioritise the signing of a right-back this summer, with Walker likely to leave the club.

Despite City’s interest, Newcastle are not inclined to entertain any offers for Livramento.

The club had already stated earlier this year that they do not plan to sell him unless their financial situation forces their hand.

Now, with a more secure financial outlook heading into the transfer window, Eddie Howe’s side have no intention of welcoming bids — even from a club of Manchester City’s stature.

Speaking to Football Insider, O’Rourke confirmed that the Magpies are fully intent on making negotiations difficult for City.

“It’s a tough deal for Manchester City,” he explained. “It’s not surprising that Livramento is one of their top targets for the right-back position.

He’s been among the best in the Premier League, and his performances for Newcastle last season were outstanding.”

“He’s been a key player for Howe’s system and also impressed with England’s U21s. Newcastle won’t even consider selling him unless they receive an astronomical offer — something in the region of £80million.”

“With the club returning to the Champions League and looking to push forward, Newcastle are determined to hold onto their top talents rather than cash in on them,” O’Rourke added.

Meanwhile, Newcastle are also working hard to retain another one of their stars — striker Alexander Isak.

Mick Brown told Football Insider on 2 July that the club is pushing for the Swedish international to sign a new deal, with growing optimism that an agreement will be reached.

Despite serious interest from Premier League giants such as Liverpool and Arsenal, Newcastle are unwilling to sell.

As previously reported in May, the Magpies have set a staggering £150million asking price, aiming to completely price out any potential buyers.
