Newcastle has been tracking Nottingham Forest’s Anthony Elanga, but Give Me Sport now claims they will also revisit their interest in Madueke.

The England international made a stunning start to the season, reinforcing the idea that Newcastle missed out by not securing his signature last summer.

Described by The Standard as “lightning-fast,” Madueke announced himself with a hat-trick in Chelsea’s first Premier League game of the season against Wolves, showcasing his attacking prowess.

Injury Setback Stalls Madueke’s Momentum

Madueke has contributed seven goals and three assists in 23 Premier League appearances this season but is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury.

Despite his absence, Newcastle may see an opportunity, given Chelsea’s overloaded squad and the likelihood of player sales in the summer.

If Brentford is open to selling Mbeumo, Newcastle is expected to prioritize that deal. However, should that move prove difficult, Madueke would be a strong alternative.
