Reports from Spain claim the Magpies are plotting a move for the Brazilian, who is now priced at €58 million (£50m) by the Red Devils.

Antony’s time at Old Trafford has been largely disappointing. Signed for £86 million in 2022, he failed to live up to expectations, managing just 12 goals in 96 appearances.

However, a recent loan spell at Real Betis breathed new life into his career.

During his time in Spain, he rediscovered form and confidence, netting 10 goals in just 26 matches—just two fewer than he managed in nearly 100 games for United.

His revitalisation in La Liga has not gone unnoticed. Spanish journalist Guillem Balague praised his transformation, telling BBC Sport:
