“Newcastle’s SHOCKING £325K-a-Week Mega-Star Signing REVEALED: He’s DESPERATE to Join and Will SLASH His Wages for the Move!”

Newcastle United Considering Move for Marcus Rashford
Newcastle United are reportedly eyeing a potential move for Manchester United outcast Marcus Rashford, with the forward open to taking a pay cut to facilitate the transfer, according to CaughtOffside.
Following an impressive 2024/25 campaign that saw them finish fifth in the Premier League and secure Champions League qualification, as well as ending a 70-year wait for silverware with a Carabao Cup victory over Liverpool, the Magpies are looking to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season.

Strengthening the attack is a key priority for manager Eddie Howe, and Rashford has now emerged as a serious target.
Rashford, currently earning around £325,000 per week at Old Trafford, was sidelined by Manchester United after falling out with manager Ruben Amorim.
He spent the second half of the season on loan at Aston Villa, where he rediscovered his form and demonstrated that he still has the quality to perform at the top level—something that hasn’t gone unnoticed by Newcastle.
Despite still being under contract, Rashford remains out of Amorim’s plans, and a permanent departure from Manchester United now looks increasingly likely.
While his salary poses a potential obstacle, Newcastle are unwilling to break their existing wage structure.
However, it’s understood that Rashford is willing to accept a reduction in wages in order to secure regular playing time and the chance to compete in the Champions League.
Although no club has yet emerged as the frontrunner in the race for the 27-year-old’s signature, Newcastle are firmly in the conversation and could intensify their interest in the coming weeks.
Meanwhile, the Magpies are also monitoring Brighton forward Joao Pedro. The Brazilian could be available for around £60 million, with Brighton reportedly ready to sell after some disciplinary concerns late in the season.
