Leicester City’s relegation from the Premier League back into the Championship has triggered an exodus of high-profile players, leaving new manager Marti Cifuentes with the difficult task of trying to rebuild a squad with far fewer arrivals than initially expected.

While banking a fee could ease financial pressures, it may also force Leicester into a rushed search for reinforcements, testing Cifuentes’ ability to balance squad depth with long-term planning.

Ultimately, the coming days will be crucial for both Leicester and Kristiansen.
