OH MY DAYS!! Fabrizio Romano CONFIRMS: Spurs are LITERALLY HOURS Away from Sealing a £52M SENSATION!! Final Detail Missing = The Deal of the CENTURY is About to EXPLODE!! (You Won’t BELIEVE Who It Is)”

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Tottenham Hotspur are edging closer to securing the signing of a new defender, although one final aspect of the deal still needs to be resolved.
Spurs’ recent form has been alarming, with the club managing just three victories from their last 13 matches across all competitions.
This prolonged slump has intensified scrutiny on head coach Thomas Frank, who has quickly become one of the leading candidates to be the next Premier League manager to lose his job.
Pressure on the former Brentford boss increased further following Wednesday night’s 3–2 defeat to an out-of-sorts AFC Bournemouth, a result that deepened concerns about Tottenham’s direction.

Despite the growing unrest, the club’s hierarchy appear determined to use the January transfer window to strengthen the squad and arrest their slide.
Defensive reinforcements have been identified as the top priority, with Spurs pushing hard for the signature of highly rated Santos left-back Souza.
The 18-year-old Brazilian has already amassed 38 senior appearances for his boyhood club, underlining both his rapid development and reputation as one of South America’s most exciting young defensive talents.
Romano provided an update on Friday morning, revealing that Tottenham are close to completing the move, with only one key detail left to finalise.
Posting on X, he said: “Tottenham are closing in on deal to sign 18-year-old left back Souza from Santos.
After the agreement with Souza and his agent Bertolucci on personal terms, #THFC also agree structure of the deal with Santos for €15m. Final missing detail: payment terms.”
If completed, the deal would represent a significant investment in the club’s long-term future, as Spurs look to rebuild a defence that has struggled for consistency throughout the campaign.
Since Frank’s appointment, Tottenham have also been repeatedly linked with players he previously worked with at Brentford.
Among those mentioned are striker Igor Thiago and centre-back Nathan Collins, though another name attracting serious attention is winger Kevin Schade.
German journalist Florian Plettenberg reports that Schade is expected to be a major transfer story later this year, with a move away from Brentford increasingly likely.
The forward is said to be valued at between €50m and €60m (£52m), and Tottenham are believed to be among several clubs closely monitoring his situation.
Plettenberg wrote on X: “Kevin #Schade is one to watch for the summer, as a move after the World Cup currently appears likely.
However, Brentford still want him to stay and are keen on extending his contract beyond 2028. Many clubs are interested.
Tottenham are among the teams closely monitoring him, as revealed.”
While speculation around transfers continues, Frank remains focused on convincing the club’s hierarchy that he deserves more time.
Speaking recently, he acknowledged the team’s struggles but insisted progress is still being made.
He said: “Of course we would love to be higher in the table and have more points.
We work extremely hard every day to perform better and to finish the season in the strongest position possible.
The FA Cup game against Aston Villa is a big opportunity, especially for the fans, given our history in the competition.
This is a difficult period, but we will come through it. We always want to improve, particularly going forward, and we have shown we can score goals.”
