Report: Sevilla making early inquiries to sign Tottenham’s ‘priceless’ summer recruit on loan in January

At the core of Tottenham’s Europa League squad are some promising youngsters eager to impress.
One of these emerging talents is now attracting serious interest from Sevilla, who are keen to offer him more regular playing time.
Sevilla Eye Loan Move for Tottenham Summer Signing
Tottenham has seen several young prospects begin to make a name for themselves. Among these is Mikey Moore, a rising star who has been climbing the ranks.
Harry Redknapp has even called on Postecoglou to give Moore more opportunities in the first team.
However, Tottenham also invested in young talent during the summer transfer window, and one of these signings has caught the attention of Sevilla.
According to Mucho Deportivo, Sevilla’s director of football, Victor Orta, has expressed interest in signing Tottenham’s Archie Gray on loan.
Orta, who recently joined Sevilla from Leeds United, is familiar with Gray, having seen his development firsthand during his time at Leeds.
Sevilla is reportedly positioning itself for a potential January loan move, with an available squad spot.
Despite Sevilla’s interest, it is expected that Tottenham will reject any loan offer for Gray, particularly given the difficulties that Alejo Veliz faced while on loan at Sevilla last season.
Archie Gray’s Europa League Opportunity
Since joining Tottenham from Leeds United over the summer, Archie Gray has struggled to break into the Premier League squad, managing just 33 minutes across four appearances.
However, the cup competitions have offered him more playing time, with 180 minutes in the Europa League and a full 90 in the Carabao Cup against Coventry City.
Postecoglou was impressed by Gray’s performance in the Coventry match, though he has yet to hand the midfielder a Premier League start.
As Gray’s minutes remain limited, questions arise about whether a loan move to Spain might offer him the regular playing time he needs to further his development.
