“Spurs Will Make Their Move” – Ex-Tottenham Scout Shares Bold Insight on Club’s Interest in Former Juventus Executive

Fabio Paratici, Tottenham’s former managing director of football, will be eligible to return to official football duties this summer, as his 30-month FIFA ban concludes in June.

The suspension was imposed due to alleged financial misconduct during his tenure at Juventus.

With that issue nearing its end, speculation is building about what lies ahead for the Italian executive.

Initially, AC Milan appeared to be leading the race to secure Paratici’s services.

Former Spurs scout Bryan King believes Paratici would be interested in a North London return and urged the club to act swiftly.

Speaking to Tottenham News, King said Tottenham should present an offer that deters any thoughts of joining AC Milan.

“Tottenham should make him an offer that will stop him from thinking about AC Milan,” King said. “I don’t believe Spurs’ interest is as strong as it has been portrayed.

If Levy wants him back, then Spurs must make a move. Right now, that effort appears to have slowed, allowing Milan to step in.

“He’s Italian, so Milan would be a great option. But I believe he’d like to return to Tottenham.

Where are the decision-makers? Why hasn’t there been a serious attempt to bring him back?”

Paratici’s football journey began at Sampdoria, where he built a strong reputation as head of scouting. His career accelerated alongside Giuseppe Marotta, with both joining Juventus in 2010.

During his time in Turin, Paratici played a key role in constructing a dominant squad that secured nine consecutive Serie A titles and reached two Champions League finals.

He joined Spurs in 2021 and quickly led a squad rebuild. Paratici oversaw an extended managerial search that ultimately led to the appointment of Antonio Conte.

His transfer work was notable, with key signings such as Rodrigo Bentancur, Dejan Kulusevski, and Cristian Romero—all of whom contributed to Spurs’ return to the Champions League.

His spell at Tottenham was interrupted in 2023 by the global ban, but with that suspension set to end, the timing could align perfectly for a comeback.
