Everton Eye Celtic Star Nicolas Kuhn for Summer Move
Everton are among several English clubs reportedly interested in signing Celtic winger Nicolas Kuhn this summer, according to TBR Football.
Under new manager David Moyes, the Toffees are in excellent form, currently unbeaten in six Premier League matches.
With relegation fears easing, the Friedkin Group is eager to showcase its financial strength by investing in the squad ahead of their move to Bramley-Moore Dock stadium next season.
Kuhn Attracting Premier League Interest
As per journalist Graeme Bailey (TBR Football), Kuhn’s performances this season have drawn attention from multiple Premier League sides, including Everton, Brentford, and Crystal Palace.
Championship club Leeds United are also monitoring the 24-year-old German, who joined Celtic for £3 million in January 2024.
Celtic could be in line for a significant profit, as Kuhn’s value has surged due to his strong displays, particularly in the Champions League.
He impressed in a crucial tie against Bayern Munich, scoring in the 63rd minute to give his side an unexpected lead at the Allianz Arena.
Across all competitions, the “outstanding” winger has recorded 18 goals and 12 assists this season.
Everton’s Wide Options and Transfer Plans
Currently, Everton have Jack Harrison, Jesper Lindstrom, Iliman Ndiaye, and Dwight McNeil as their main wide options.
However, Harrison and Lindstrom have yet to register a single goal or assist in the league and are both on loan.
This could influence Everton’s decision to look for a more permanent solution on the wings.
Given Kuhn’s goal-scoring ability and creativity, he could be a valuable addition to Moyes’ squad, offering an attacking threat that Everton’s wingers have lacked this season.
Competition for Kuhn’s Signature
In addition to Everton, several top Premier League clubs have been tracking Kuhn.
Aston Villa explored a move in January, and with European football under Unai Emery, they could offer an attractive alternative.
If Everton are serious about signing Kuhn, they may need to act swiftly to secure his signature ahead of their rivals.
