102 Premier League Players Representing Clubs like Aston Villa, Wolves, Spurs, and Everton at EURO 2024
More than 100 Premier League players are set to compete in EURO 2024 in Germany this summer.
Nineteen of the 20 clubs in the 2024/25 Premier League season will be represented at the tournament. The only exception is newly promoted Ipswich Town, which has no current players participating. This is understandable given that Ipswich was playing in League One just two seasons ago.
Ipswich could have had players in the tournament if Wales had qualified, but they lost to Poland on penalties in the play-offs in March. As a result, Ipswich players Nathan Broadhead and Wes Burns had to settle for matches against Slovakia and Gibraltar, with the pressure increasing on Wales manager Rob Page.
Manchester City boasts the highest number of players heading to EURO 2024, with 13 representatives. This ties them with Serie A champions Inter Milan, while PSG, Barcelona, and Real Madrid each have 12 players participating.
Aston Villa and Wolves, the two West Midlands clubs, are sending seven players to Germany. Ezri Konsa and Ollie Watkins will represent England for Aston Villa, but no Wolves players are in the England squad. However, Wolves have three Portuguese players: Nelson Semedo, Jose Sa, and Pedro Neto.
