New information has surfaced about the 26-year-old’s transfer, revealing it to be a straight loan deal with no option or obligation to make it permanent at the end of the season.

Amidst Everton transfer rumors, questions have arisen regarding Orel Mangala’s exit from Lyon. It appears Everton have reconsidered the terms of the deal, wisely avoiding the risk of committing to a player they may not want permanently in a year’s time.
While there is a chance the 26-year-old could excel at Everton, there is also the possibility that he may struggle to adapt to the Premier League. If that happens, the Toffees might decide against making his stay permanent.
