Potential Move: Leicester Eyes Another Italian Talent to Challenge “Unpredictable” Fatawu

Leicester City is gaining momentum in the transfer window with new arrivals expected at the King Power Stadium.

Bobby Decordova-Reid and Caleb Okoli have joined the club, with Okoli leaving Atalanta for Steve Cooper’s Premier League project.

Leicester may not be done shopping in Serie A, as they eye a move for an attacking talent to bolster their squad for the upcoming season.

According to Sky Sports Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio, Leicester is preparing a bid for Juventus prospect Matias Soule, who impressed on loan at Frosinone Calcio.

Di Marzio reports Leicester could offer £21m for Soule, though Juventus values him higher, complicating negotiations.

Leicester could fund this move with the sale of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, despite nearing a costly deal to sign Abdul Fatawu permanently.

Soule’s potential arrival would add competition for Fatawu, who contributed significantly to Leicester’s promotion campaign.

Soule, 21, scored 11 goals and provided three assists in Serie A, while Fatawu tallied six goals and 13 assists in the Championship.

Football analyst Ben Mattinson describes Soule as “unpredictable” and scout Jacek Kulig praises him as “superb,” suggesting he could impact games off the bench.

Leicester fans will be pleased with these signings as the club prepares for its return to the Premier League.
