“Pundit Reveals Minimum Price Leeds Must Pay to Sign Gabriel Sara from Norwich”

The financial drop-off from the second to the third year is significant, and next summer, these payments will end entirely. Consequently, Norwich needs to sell a key player, and Sara is a likely candidate.

Leeds recently made a low offer for Sara, which Norwich quickly rejected. The initial bid of £5 million was deemed insufficient by Johannes Hoff Thorup’s side.

According to Graeme Bailey, a move for Sara would require a substantial £20 million fee if Leeds, backed by The 49ers, hope to secure his services. Carlton Palmer commented that Leeds should bid at least £10 million.

Palmer told FLW, “Leeds received £25 million for Summerville, but they might hesitate to spend most of that on a player older than the one sold.

They may return with a higher offer, but it may still fall short of Norwich’s £20 million asking price. If they don’t offer at least £10 million, they might look elsewhere.”

Sara would be a remarkable signing for Leeds, according to his manager. Thorup, who replaced David Wagner this summer after Norwich’s failed promotion bid, has been impressed with Sara.

To try and retain him, Thorup has given Sara the captain’s armband for much of Norwich’s pre-season. Speaking on Sara’s future, Thorup described him as “amazing.”
