West Ham Open Talks with Premier League Club for January Loan Deal – Report
West Ham United Initiate Direct Contact with Brighton Over January Loan for Evan Ferguson, Reports Alex Crook

The talkSPORT journalist reported on the outlet’s website (2 January) that after West Ham contacted the Republic of Ireland international’s agents, they have now made their move with Brighton & Hove Albion [TEAMtalk, 2 January].
The report also states that Arsenal and Fulham are keen to secure his services in the upcoming winter transfer window.
Evan Ferguson could be a great addition for West Ham United.
Similar to their previous Premier League campaigns, the Hammers have struggled with a reliable striker to lead their attack.

Niclas Fullkrug, brought in over the summer to address the issue, missed several weeks due to an injury sustained during the first international break.
While the German has returned to action and possesses a clinical touch, he cannot be expected to play every match. This is why a loan move for Ferguson makes sense.
Such a deal would allow Julen Lopetegui and Tim Steidten to cover only Ferguson’s wages without incurring a transfer fee, with the option to send him back to Brighton at the season’s end.
Whether a move for the Brighton forward materializes remains to be seen, but if it does, it could prove a shrewd decision for Lopetegui and his team.
