ExWHUemployee: West Ham to finalize Kante signing for U21s, medical imminent.

West Ham set to finalize Mohamadou Kante signing in the coming days, reports ExWHUemployee.

A report from The West Ham Way on 19 August suggests that a Paris FC youngster is set to join West Ham United, joining the Under-21 squad.

The 18-year-old midfielder, Kante, is said to be undergoing his medical with the Irons, with the deal expected to be finalized within a few days.

Kante is described as having significant talent and potential, making him a promising prospect for the club’s future.

This move comes after West Ham’s unsuccessful attempt to sign N’Golo Kante earlier this summer, a time when the transfer window was proving challenging for the club.

Despite that setback, Tim Steidten managed to turn things around, securing key signings like Crysencio Summerville, Niclas Fullkrug, Guido Rodriguez, Jean-Clair Todibo, and Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

The acquisition of the young Kante seems to be a strategic investment for the future, with hopes that he might emulate the success of his namesake, the former Chelsea star.

Meanwhile, Julen Lopetegui continues to pursue PSG’s Carlos Soler, with talks reportedly ongoing between the clubs.

As reported by Sky Sports on 19 August, The Times also mentioned that three current West Ham midfielders might be on their way out to make room for new additions.

Given the competition in the senior squad, it would be challenging for the Paris FC youngster to break into the first team immediately.

Andy Irving is also considering a loan move after receiving offers [Edinburgh Evening News, 16 August].

If Kante passes his medical, he will likely spend the next season or two developing with the Under-21s, aiming to push through to the first team in the future.
