According to The Mirror, Chelsea now aim to offload Everton target Armando Broja before the transfer deadline after securing a deal to sign Samu Omorodion.
On August 7, the Toffees were mentioned on the paper’s website as potential suitors for the Albanian international, alongside AC Milan, Southampton, Wolves, and Monaco.
The situation is evolving as these clubs await any new offers.
Chelsea is poised to acquire Atletico Madrid’s Omorodion for £34.5 million, which will likely lead to the departure of their current strikers, Broja and David Datro Fofana.
Discussions regarding the future of these two players are expected to “intensify,” with Everton reportedly considering a renewed bid for Broja, following earlier talks this summer.
