One name high on Rangers’ radar is Flynn Downes, who joined Southampton from West Ham for £15million last summer.

However, following the Saints’ relegation, the 26-year-old could be on the move once again.

According to the Daily Record (23 June), Southampton would likely expect a fee close to what they paid to part ways with Downes.

While initial offers could start around £9million, it may require a significantly higher bid to secure his departure.

Rangers boss Russell Martin is believed to be an admirer of Downes, having previously managed him at both Swansea and Southampton.
