Rangers Aim for Another Brighton Loan Coup with Carl Rushworth Interest
Glasgow Rangers have effectively utilised the loan market in recent seasons and are now seeking a replacement for standout winger Vaclav Cerny, who impressed during the 2024/25 campaign.
The 27-year-old Czech contributed 12 goals and four assists from the right flank, continuing the trend of successful loan deals at Ibrox.

Starting all 46 league matches, he prevented 4.02 more goals than expected (based on xG), highlighting his impressive shot-stopping ability — an area where Butland fell short last season.
The former England U21 keeper is also praised for his modern style.
Comfortable with the ball at his feet, he fits perfectly into Russell Martin’s possession-heavy system, often acting as a sweeper and rarely launching long balls unnecessarily.
