“Newcastle’s SHOCKING Move: 22-Year-Old Star Offered JAW-DROPPING Mega-Million Salary in Secret Agent Talks!”

Newcastle United Eye Summer Move for “Special” Midfielder

Newcastle United have reportedly initiated contact with the agent of Gabri Veiga as they look to strengthen their squad with a summer signing.

The 22-year-old Spanish midfielder, currently playing for Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli, is being monitored closely by the Magpies as they prepare for potential Champions League qualification.

Champions League Still Within Reach

Eddie Howe’s side suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat at the hands of Arsenal on Sunday, leaving their Champions League qualification hopes still hanging in the balance.

Despite the loss, Newcastle remain in a promising position to secure a top-five Premier League finish.

A win at home against Everton on the final day of the season would guarantee their return to Europe’s elite competition.

Speaking after the defeat at the Emirates, Howe emphasized the importance of finishing strong and securing Champions League football.

“We are in a strong position. It’s in our hands, and that’s a positive. The prize is so big, and everyone is fighting for it. We’ve worked incredibly hard to get here. Now it’s going to the wire, and we need one last big push.”

Champions League qualification would be a major boost for Newcastle, not just financially but also in terms of their pulling power in the transfer market.

Veiga on the Radar

According to a report from Foot Mercato (via Sport Witness), Newcastle have reached out to Gabri Veiga’s representatives to discuss a potential move.

While Al-Ahli currently employ the talented midfielder, a return to Europe appears likely, with former club Celta Vigo also expressing interest in re-signing him.

Despite reportedly earning around £10 million annually in Saudi Arabia, Veiga is said to be open to leaving the Middle East for a more competitive environment.

Newcastle are believed to be “well informed” about the conditions required to sign the player.

Veiga is viewed as an ideal candidate to enhance Newcastle’s attacking midfield options.

Lauded by Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti, who once described him as “an excellent player who has something special,” the Spaniard’s skill set could significantly boost the Magpies’ creativity in the final third.

Versatility and Promise

Still only 22, Veiga made a notable impact during his time in La Liga with Celta Vigo, scoring 11 goals across 56 appearances.

He has also found the net twice for both Spain’s U21 and U18 sides. His versatility allows him to operate as a central or attacking midfielder, and even out wide on the left.

Given his potential and flexibility, Veiga could provide vital squad depth for Newcastle in both domestic and European competitions.

A move to St James’ Park would offer him the platform to grow further and contribute at a higher level, while giving Howe an exciting, long-term option in midfield.
