According to Florian Plettenberg, Everton has expressed serious interest in Paris Saint-Germain’s Carlos Soler.
The Toffees have long admired the 27-year-old Spanish international and have reached out to PSG to explore a potential deal for his transfer to Goodison Park.
However, Everton faces competition from Premier League rivals West Ham.
Fabrizio Romano has reported that West Ham is actively negotiating to secure Soler and plans to finalize the deal by the transfer deadline.
PSG is looking to sell Soler this summer but is not considering a loan arrangement.

The 27-year-old has been on their radar for some time, and their interest is concrete. Everton has made contact with Paris Saint-Germain.
However, West Ham is also pursuing Soler and planning their next steps, aiming to complete the transfer by Deadline Day.
PSG wants to sell Soler, and a loan deal is not on the table.”
In addition to their pursuit of Soler, Everton is also seeking to bolster their defense and has been linked with Kieran Trippier of Newcastle United, who has reportedly requested a transfer.
Soler has made 63 appearances for PSG over the past two seasons, scoring eight goals in all competitions.
Securing his signature would be a significant boost for Everton, but convincing him to move will be a challenging task.
