“It’s a possibility (returning to England), but all depends on Milan now,” Romano wrote.
“They must decide whether they want to keep him from Roma or let him go back to the club, and it will be up to the new director they’re about to appoint soon.”
Should Milan opt against making his move permanent, Everton would likely be among the frontrunners for his signature.
With the Friedkin Group prepared to invest heavily, Goodison Park could be an appealing destination for the striker.
