Report: Everton Contemplating Move for ‘Very Talented’ Premier League Striker to Replace Beto This Summer

Everton have already added two new faces to Goodison Park this summer with Iliman Ndiaye and Tim Iroegbunam joining the squad. However, the Toffees have also seen several departures, as the club needed to balance the books last month against PSR.

The Portuguese forward joined Everton last summer from Udinese in a deal reportedly worth almost £26 million. Interest in Armando Broja from within the Premier League has emerged, with Chelsea reportedly open to selling him this summer. Previous reports suggest Chelsea could seek a fee of around £35 million for the 22-year-old in the coming weeks.

Armando Broja still has much to prove in the Premier League. Many strikers who came through the ranks of Premier League clubs have struggled to transition to the first team. Last season, Broja was loaned to Fulham, where he only accumulated 81 minutes in the second half of the campaign. Despite this, he remains highly regarded, with his former manager Frank Lampard praising him in 2022.

“He’s a very nice, very good lad and a very talented young boy,” Lampard told the media. “He’s fast, strong, has a real eye for goal, and he’s a very, very good young player, so I’m very aware of his strengths in a Southampton team playing very well.”
