While speculation surrounds Tom Cannon’s potential return to Leicester amid interest from Championship clubs, Sammy Braybrooke has already been recalled by the Foxes.

Braybrooke, a promising academy talent once tipped for a bright future, faced setbacks due to a long-term injury.

The midfielder, who has captained England at youth level, joined Dundee FC on loan but made only eight appearances during his spell in Scotland.

Dundee confirmed his return, stating:

“Dundee Football Club can confirm that midfielder Sammy Braybrooke has left the club after being recalled from his season-long loan by parent club Leicester City.

“Sammy joined The Dee on August 28, 2024, and during his time played eight times for the Dark Blues.

Will Braybrooke Feature for Leicester This Season?

Domestic regulations allow players to represent only two clubs in a single season.

Since Braybrooke has played exclusively for Dundee so far, he is eligible to feature for Leicester.

However, with Leicester’s midfield options already abundant, it’s likely Braybrooke will be sent out on loan again to secure more first-team experience elsewhere.
