Report: Man United Eye Loan Deal for 19-Year-Old Targeted by Spurs

According to Mundo Deportivo, as relayed by Sport Witness, Manchester United have entered the race to sign Barcelona youngster Vitor Roque, who has been heavily linked with a move to Tottenham.

Last month, multiple sources reported that Tottenham became interested after Roque’s representatives began exploring a move away from Barcelona to secure more regular game time (TBR Football).

AS corroborated this, noting that Spurs had tried to sign the 19-year-old last summer before his move to Camp Nou and are now ready to renew their interest.

Mundo Deportivo now claims that Manchester United, in search of a number nine, have turned their attention to Roque. The report indicates that the Red Devils have contacted the teenager’s agent to express interest in a loan deal, while Juventus are also eyeing the forward.

Additionally, the publication notes that clubs like Porto, Atletico Madrid, AC Milan, Lens, Napoli, Lyon, Nice, Sevilla, and Real Betis are monitoring Roque’s situation.

It remains uncertain whether Spurs or Man United will make an official move for the youngster.

It appears Tottenham would face a bidding war for Roque if they want to secure him this summer. It’s unlikely Spurs would consider a loan move for the Brazilian unless Barcelona includes an option to buy.
