Newcastle United are ready to sell striker Callum Wilson amid interest from West Ham United, according to talkSPORT.
Alex Crook reported on the broadcaster’s website (23 June) that Wilson is also attracting attention from Saudi Arabian clubs.
With the 32-year-old set to become a free agent in a year, the Magpies are considering selling him to avoid any PSR issues.
Chronicle Live noted on 22 June that West Ham have already initiated contact with Newcastle about a deal for Wilson.
Wilson’s injury history is a significant concern for United. However, if managed correctly, the Irons could acquire a proven Premier League talent.
Wilson has scored 47 goals in 95 league appearances for Newcastle, a performance that would be highly valued at London Stadium.
