Report: Tottenham Await Offers for 28-Year-Old Despite Interest
Recent Reports: Spurs Aim to Offload Several Players This Summer, Including Emerson Royal and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Though No Offers Yet for the Latter

Fabrizio Romano previously indicated in late May that Tottenham would be open to player departures this summer, highlighting Emerson as one of several players likely to leave the club.
According to Alasdair Gold, AC Milan recently made an £8.4 million bid for Emerson Royal, which falls far short of Tottenham’s £16.8 million asking price for the Brazilian full-back.
The Athletic’s latest report expands on potential departures, suggesting that Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is also expected to leave Hotspur Way before next season, although Tottenham has yet to receive any offers for the Danish midfielder.
Despite interest from Galatasaray, where the vice-president confirmed their pursuit of Hojbjerg, the 28-year-old has not attracted concrete offers, indicating a quiet market for his services (Evening Standard).
The Athletic’s report further notes Tottenham’s expectation that Emerson will eventually depart, despite Milan’s initial offer being deemed insufficient, prolonging the negotiation process for the Brazilian’s exit.
Additionally, the report identifies Djed Spence and Sergio Reguilon as two more players likely to be sold this summer. Reguilon, who impressed during his loan spell at Brentford under Thomas Frank, faces financial hurdles as Brentford may struggle to afford his wages, potentially complicating a permanent deal.
