Report: Spurs Target Crystal Palace Star Praised as ‘Incredible’ by Eberechi Eze

Few Would Have Predicted Tottenham Sitting Below Crystal Palace at This Stage of the Season.

Tottenham Eye Summer Moves for Young English Talents

Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham have endured a disappointing season, and their Carabao Cup exit on Thursday only added to their struggles.

With hopes now resting on the FA Cup and Europa League, Postecoglou is also aiming to improve Spurs’ standing in the Premier League.

Meanwhile, discussions are already underway about summer transfers, with two promising young players being targeted.

Spurs Interested in Crystal Palace’s Adam Wharton

Tottenham have prioritized signing young, talented players in recent windows. The arrivals of Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall have been major successes, while Wilson Odobert and Mathys Tel have also shown promise.

Continuing that strategy, Spurs have set their sights on Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton.

The 21-year-old was a standout performer in the Premier League last season and has impressed at the international level as well.

England teammate Eberechi Eze even described him as an “incredible player” following his Three Lions debut (BBC).

According to Football Transfers, Tottenham have already held internal discussions about signing Wharton and are expected to make a serious move for him in the summer.

However, Spurs are likely to face stiff competition from other top clubs, especially if Wharton continues his strong performances for Palace in the coming months.

Tottenham Also Keen on Tyler Dibling

Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson recently urged Tottenham to strengthen their midfield, arguing that their current options lack quality.

While Wharton would be a fantastic addition, he isn’t the only young English player on Spurs’ radar. The club also remains interested in Southampton’s Tyler Dibling.

Tottenham had considered signing Dibling in the January window but backed out after Southampton placed a high asking price on him at the last minute.

Now, Spurs are expected to revisit their pursuit in the summer, though it remains to be seen whether Southampton will lower their valuation of the promising youngster.
