Tottenham Hotspur are prepared to meet a fellow Premier League club’s demands to sign an “outrageous” attacker, according to journalist Sebastien Vidal.

Despite securing Champions League qualification, the club has made only a handful of notable additions, with Mathys Tel and Kevin Danso arriving on permanent deals following loan spells, and Mohammed Kudus joining as the only other high-profile signing.
Disappointment was compounded when Tottenham missed out on Nottingham Forest’s Morgan Gibbs-White last month.

The club’s recruitment team has turned its attention to multiple targets, including Leicester City’s Bilal El Khannouss, Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze, Manchester City’s James McAtee, and Liverpool’s Harvey Elliott.
Vidal reports that Spurs are “ready” to meet Liverpool’s valuation of Elliott, with the 22-year-old potentially in line for regular starts in north London.
Liverpool are believed to be open to selling the England U21 international this summer, with a £40 million price tag being discussed.
Elliott, described by scout Jacek Kulig as “outrageous,” has Champions League experience and could offer Spurs the attacking creativity they desperately need.
While Eze is arguably the most attractive option, having delivered the highest attacking contributions among the shortlisted names in last season’s Premier League, his age and status make him harder to secure.
At 27, Eze has had more playing time than the younger targets, and Tottenham face stiff competition from Arsenal, who are reportedly close to sealing a £55 million deal for the Palace talisman.
If Eze proves unattainable, Elliott could represent the most realistic and valuable signing.
His technical skill, vision, and ability to operate in multiple attacking roles make him a strong candidate to fill the creative void left by Maddison’s injury and Son’s departure.
Given Tottenham’s current lack of attacking depth, news that they are ready to meet Liverpool’s demands is a positive step.
With a fee of around £40 million considered reasonable for a player of Elliott’s calibre and potential, securing his signature could help Spurs strengthen their squad at a crucial moment before the new season begins.
