Report: Tottenham submit £30m bid for Premier League left-footer with dazzling skills
Tottenham Hotspur expected to have an active summer transfer window after an injury-plagued season.
Tottenham Hotspur are not only focused on strengthening their squad but also on replacing departing players.
One such departure is Sergio Reguilon, whose contract expires at the end of the season.
In response, Spurs have reportedly set their sights on a Premier League replacement, making a move for Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Rayan Ait-Nouri.
According to Africafoot, Tottenham have submitted a €35 million (£30 million) bid for the Algerian international, making them the frontrunners for his signature.
However, they face competition from Liverpool, West Ham United, Arsenal, and Manchester United, all of whom are reportedly interested in the 22-year-old left-back.
What Rayan Ait-Nouri Could Offer Spurs
It’s no surprise Ait-Nouri is attracting so much interest, given his impressive performances for Wolves.
His versatility allows him to play not only as a left-back but also as a left-winger, right-winger, attacking midfielder, or even centre-back.
Ait-Nouri’s attacking qualities would make him a valuable addition to Spurs, potentially complementing or covering for Son Heung-min in advanced positions.
His former teammate, Conor Coady, once described him as having “bags of tricks” and being “brilliant to have around.”
Meanwhile, pundit Ally McCoist praised his ability to deliver “ridiculous” and “majestic” passes.
Although Ait-Nouri is under contract with Wolves until 2026, with an option for an additional year, their bargaining position may not be the strongest.
However, with several top clubs interested, Tottenham could find themselves in a bidding war for one of the Premier League’s most exciting left-footed talents.
