West Ham is targeting Tammy Abraham
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, West Ham United is plotting a move for Roma striker Tammy Abraham, who has been called a ‘phenomenon’ (All Football).
Abraham wanted a move to AC Milan earlier this summer, but his wages were an issue for a backup role to Alvaro Morata.
The former Chelsea player is reportedly available for sale, and a bid of around £25m could secure the deal.
However, it is not yet clear if West Ham is willing to spend such a significant amount on another forward.
One issue West Ham faces is Danny Ings, who is refusing to leave, which is why they are considering a loan option.
West Ham remains interested in Jhon Duran
TBR understands West Ham is still keen on Aston Villa’s Jhon Duran. Any potential deal would likely be a loan.
The Hammers were in talks to sign Duran permanently before moving for Fullkrug but were deterred by his £40m price tag.
With the transfer deadline fast approaching, perhaps Villa will allow the 20-year-old to leave on loan rather than keeping a player who Unai Emery clearly doesn’t favor.
