Report: West Ham Face Competition from Three Premier League Clubs for ‘Remarkable’ Forward

West Ham Now Competing with Three Premier League Clubs for Highly Sought Serie A Forward

West Ham have been quietly efficient in the summer transfer window, already securing deals for Max Kilman and Luis Guilherme, and eyeing Jean-Clair Todibo.

With a defender signed and another potentially on the way, shifting focus to attacking signings could be a smart strategy for the Hammers, especially as they aim for European qualification in the new season.

One of their targets, Alexis Saelemaekers, has now attracted interest from other Premier League sides. According to CalcioMercato, Fulham, Leicester City, and Nottingham Forest have joined West Ham in the race to sign the AC Milan forward.

Saelemaekers, praised as a ‘remarkable’ forward, played a key role for Thiago Motta’s Bologna last season, helping them qualify for the UEFA Champions League.

This summer, Saelemaekers could move to the Premier League, with four teams now vying for his signature, much to West Ham’s dismay. Saelemaekers could have been an ideal signing for the Hammers, given their need for an attacking player. The competition from Fulham, Leicester, and Forest complicates things for West Ham.

West Ham need to ensure they win the race to sign Saelemaekers. He demonstrated at Bologna last season that he has the potential to become a top forward in one of Europe’s best leagues. For West Ham, securing Saelemaekers would be beneficial, as they need a player of his caliber in their frontline.

With Milan keen to sell Saelemaekers this summer, a move to east London could be advantageous for all parties.

West Ham needs a player like the 25-year-old, who could excel in their attack. However, West Ham must act quickly to secure Saelemaekers, with three Premier League rivals now in the race for the Milan outcast.
