West Ham United target Jota Silva is anticipating an “imminent” departure from Vitoria de Guimaraes, according to A Bola.
The report from June 9 reveals that the Hammers are monitoring the forward “very closely” but have not yet made an offer for him.
Silva’s contract reportedly includes a release clause of around £17 million, though West Ham are expected to bid between £10 million and £13 million.
Silva is considered Vitoria de Guimaraes’ “Most Valuable Player,” but the Portuguese club recognizes that this could be their last chance to secure a substantial fee for him.
The Hammers have a promising chance of sealing a deal for Silva, given the current situation.
