Revealed: Everton Facing Double Transfer Blow Ahead of Deadline

Sources Inform Football Insider: Everton Restricted to Loan Market for Remainder of Transfer Window

Everton face the prospect of losing several key players before the transfer deadline on Friday (30 August), presenting a significant challenge for Sean Dyche’s side.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin has attracted interest from other clubs after rejecting several contract renewal offers, while Neal Maupay is drawing attention from both Brentford and Marseille.

Additionally, Mason Holgate is also a candidate for a potential late move away from Merseyside.

Despite already securing loan deals for Jasper Lindstrom and Jack Harrison this summer, Everton will likely need to pursue more temporary agreements to further bolster their squad.

Newcastle’s Kieran Trippier has been frequently mentioned as a potential target for Goodison Park after falling down the pecking order at St James’ Park.

Everton have invested in the window by bringing in Jake O’Brien, Iliman Ndiaye, and Tim Iroegbunam on permanent deals.

However, due to ongoing takeover uncertainty, their financial resources have been constrained.

As a result, Dyche may have to rely on loan signings to strengthen his team and address the threat of relegation.
