However, van Nistelrooy shared some concerning injury news during his Thursday media session.
Midfielder Wilfried Ndidi has been sidelined for a few weeks with an injury, while Harry Winks remains unavailable due to a groin issue.

When asked about Leicester’s transfer plans, van Nistelrooy provided an open and honest update.

“It’s an ongoing process,” van Nistelrooy told reporters via Leicestershire Live.
“The way the club is preparing for different possibilities is impressive. It’s about deciding whether we want to pursue these options.
We’re looking at several positions to strengthen, but I’m also considering the current squad and the Under-21 players.
There’s young JJ (Jayden Joseph) and Henry (Cartwright), and I have a clear understanding of what’s needed in the window.”
Van Nistelrooy also hinted that Henry Cartwright might feature in this weekend’s match against Newcastle.
Throughout the season, Leicester’s key areas of weakness have become evident.
The club urgently needs a center-back, as Wout Faes has struggled with consistency, while veterans Jannik Vestergaard and Conor Coady are not long-term solutions.
Caleb Okoli, who joined from Atalanta in the summer, is still adapting.
Additionally, Leicester requires a right-winger to cover for Abdul Fatawu’s injury and a striker to share the workload with Jamie Vardy.
