Ruud van Nistelrooy insists Leicester City need contributions from the entire squad to remain in the Premier League, after Bobby De Cordova-Reid came off the bench to secure a crucial point against Brighton.

“This squad must perform to stay in the Premier League—there’s no alternative. It’s not just about the 11 starters; we need five substitutes to make meaningful contributions.

I demand a lot from the wingers, both offensively and defensively. The same goes for the full-backs and strikers.

I’m glad we have options, and I’ve used all of them in the two games so far.”
