“You can only move forward when everyone is on the same page. There must be a shared understanding of the club’s direction and how we plan to get there. That’s definitely my intention.

“I’ve always felt that initiating discussions and regularly communicating my ideas is vital. It’s about staying connected, understanding what’s happening, and identifying how we can improve together.”

Van Nistelrooy emphasized that while long-term planning is crucial, he and his staff remain focused on their immediate responsibilities.

“At the end of the day, we’re professionals. Our day-to-day duty is to prepare for the next match—this Saturday. That’s our short-term focus, even as we work within the broader goals of the club.”
