Tottenham Targeting Last-Minute Transfer as Ange Identifies Key Position Before Deadline – Report
Tottenham Hotspur have been busy in the transfer market, signing multiple players, but more deals could still be on the horizon.

According to a report from Football Insider, Tottenham Hotspur are prioritizing the signing of a new centre-back before the transfer window closes.
Manager Ange Postecoglou has identified this position as needing more depth.
Currently, Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven are the first-choice pairing, with Radu Dragusin serving as a backup.
However, the departures of Joe Rodon and Eric Dier, along with Ashley Phillips’ loan move to Stoke City, have left the squad somewhat thin defensively.
While Spurs were heavily linked with Marc Guehi earlier in the window, Newcastle have now emerged as the favorites to sign him.
Tottenham have already secured five new signings this summer.
Notable additions include Dominic Solanke and Archie Gray, who strengthen the team’s attacking and midfield options.
The club also brought in young winger Wilson Odobert, who impressed on his debut against Everton, and South Korean prospect Min-hyuk Yang, who has been loaned back to his parent club for the season.
Additionally, Spurs finalized the signing of Lucas Bergvall after a deal was initially agreed upon in January and extended Timo Werner’s loan for another year.
As the transfer deadline approaches, it remains to be seen if Tottenham will make further moves, particularly in strengthening their defensive line.
Fans eagerly await any last-minute additions to bolster the squad.
